The Association Sport for All existed under this name until 1992 when all republic associations of former Yugoslavia participated equally in its work. In May 2006, programmatic issues were inherited by Association Sport for All Serbia. Thanks to the programmatic definitions, it motivated interests of many non governmental organizations that, more or less, deal with programmes of sport recreation for citizens. Nowadays, ASFAS is consisted of 35 members, from both national level and local communities, that make a very significant organizational structure. In agreement with the Association For International Sport for All – TAFISA goals, ASFAS supports promotion/development of traditional sports and games, sees Sport for All as a major contributor to individual, social, community and national life quality, supports international exchange & education of leaders, cooperates with health, culture, education and recreation, supports diversity, inclusiveness and member development.
