By law, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tirana (CCIT), is a Business Association and Institution of public right, independent and non-profitable, providing a focal point for businesses to connect and to contribute towards positive change and the growth of the economy of the country. CCIT is one of few organizations in Albania dedicated to project development. It employs qualified staff (engineers, business managers, IT specialists with Doctor and/or Msc Degrees) and has established strong cooperation relationships with national and international know how centers. Apart from representation to Consultative Business Council, the Chamber has access to priority information and to legal advice. This flows over into information regarding manufacture, tourism, agriculture, environment, import and export, etc. Areas of activity include industrial and non-industrial sectors, as information and communication technology and tourism, sports & leisure.
